Annertech shortlisted for the Digital Media Awards

The Digital Media Awards are on tonight and we can't wait! The Ireland.ie website we developed for the Creative Ireland Programme is up for 2 awards! It is shortlisted in both the Best in Public Service and Best Website categories.

The Creative Ireland Programme is a groundbreaking concept for Ireland. It strives to put culture and creativity at the forefront of public policy. With Ireland.ie, we had the opportunity, along with our partners at Zero-G and BigO, to create a single proposition, based on Irish culture and creativity, that represents a considered, compelling and imaginative view of how we wish to be seen by the outside world. Ireland.ie became the outward expression of our identity and the information point for everyone who wished to know about or to engage with Ireland.

Speaking at the website launch during his St Patrick’s Day visit to the US capital, then Taoiseach, Enda Kenny, described the Ireland.ie as “a gateway to discovery of who we are, what we believe and what we do”. With Ireland.ie we now have a website that proudly declares to the world that Ireland is a great place to live, visit, work, study, do business with and invest in.

Hopefully the judges are as proud of this site as we are! We're up against some tough competition tonight, including Aware, Easons and the Abbey Theatre. Fingers crossed we win!
