A warm welcome to Project Manager Fatima Mahmood
We’re excited to introduce the newest member of the Annertech team: Fatima Mahmood, a UK-based Project Manager with a passion for digital transformation and Drupal.
Hailing from the vibrant city of Manchester, Fatima brings with her a rich cultural heritage – her father immigrated to the UK from Pakistan, and her mother from Singapore.
Fatima officially joined us in June and is already diving into a range of both large-scale and smaller projects.
With years of experience managing digital workstreams, she’s no stranger to the complexities of web development. Her expertise lies primarily with the Drupal CMS, where she has led numerous successful initiatives involving website builds, CRM integrations, major Drupal upgrades, and more.
“I like to say that my professional specialty is the ability to translate complexity, say technical speak or complex process, into simple, client-friendly language,” she said.
It’s a skill that makes her a natural fit for working across teams and with clients, especially on projects where clarity and communication are key to success.

Fatima Mahmood joins Annertech's Project team, where she will be managing new website projects.
What drew Fatima to Annertech? For one, the team.
“I’m looking forward to getting to know the team; it looks incredibly diverse and I believe this speaks volumes about the quality and strength of the teams and the organisation,” she shared.
She’s also excited about the opportunity to contribute to our work with Local Government Drupal.
“I'm looking forward to Local Government Drupal as it combines my career experience – that political interface will be a blast from the past!”
Fatima previously worked for the Labour Party (North West), where she would organise the annual Local Government Days, bringing councillors and council leaders from across the North West together to discuss government priorities and policies such as housing, transport and healthcare directly with government ministers and MPs.
She also ran a range of other North West political events such as the National Policy Forum, enabling open contributions to party policy and introduced the region's first Business Conference, held at Manchester United Football Club, enabling business directors, CEOs and managers to liaise face-to-face with MPs, ministers and council leaders to share policy feedback.
“Together with my Drupal experience, I feel this political background sits perfectly with Annertech's fusion of Drupal CMS with Local Government Digital Services,” she said.
Fatima holds a master’s degree in political thought from the University of Manchester. She’s also a graduate from the city’s prestigious Withington Girls' School.
We’re delighted to have her on board and can’t wait to see the impact she’ll make. Welcome to Annertech, Fatima!
