Welcome Fiona Spellman, our new Delivery Manager in Managed Services
Meet Fiona Spellman, the newest member of Team Annertech, bringing fresh energy and expertise to client support and digital delivery.
Fiona, who is based in the UK, joins our Managed Services team as a Delivery Manager, where she’ll be working closely with our account managers and developers to support, enhance, and grow the digital platforms our clients rely on every day.
With her strong background in digital project management and a knack for process, Fiona is already making an impact.
“It's been great so far, I've really enjoyed getting to know the team, finding out all about Annertech and getting stuck in on all things process,” she says.
Fiona brings over six years of project management experience to the role, beginning her journey as a creative project manager in the design and branding world before shifting her focus to digital four years ago.
“I quickly moved into the world of digital which has been my focus for over four years now.”
Before moving into project management, Fiona’s early career was in media and TV production, with a specialism in video post-production. But over time, she realised she wanted to play a more holistic role in project delivery.
“I went on to study post-production in university and started out my career in video content production, but after a few years I found myself enjoying the client services side of projects. I was keen to move into a role where I worked with different teams across whole project lifecycles – rather than being one of the final cogs of the project process as I had been with video editing.”
So what drew her to Annertech?
“I was really drawn to Annertech's Drupal expertise and in particular its involvement within the Drupal community. The work Annertech produces really stood out to me, working across different sectors from non-profits to local governments – and consistently winning awards,” she said.
With experience in Drupal, WordPress, and Shopify, Fiona brings a well-rounded digital skill set to the team and a deep enthusiasm for working in open-source.
She’s especially excited about the opportunity to collaborate with our international team of experts: “Working with specialists based all over the world, creating amazing work for some great organisations is something that I'm really looking forward to.”
And we’re just as excited to have her!
