Ever since Andrew joined Annertech, he's been a champion of accessible web design and has ensured that accessibility has remained a key focus area in everything we do. That combined with his dedication to open source and contributing back to the community, meant that we were not surprised when he was asked if he'd be interested in becoming a Drupal core accessibility maintainer.

The countdown to DrupalCon Dublin is fast reaching zero. With just over two months left to go, the call for session proposals closed last week, with speakers to find out in the coming weeks if their sessions have been accepted or not. This year Annertech has a record breaking 8 sessions proposed!

The ICAD awards were held earlier this month in Vicar Street in Dublin, and we're delighted to say that Ireland.ie took home the Silver Bell in the Website Design category.

Last month, not only did we announce that DrupalCon is coming to Dublin in 2016, but five more of our developers became Acquia-certified, myself included!

Last week I had the privilege of attending the Digital Preservation for the Arts, Social Sciences and Humanities (DPASSH) conference in Dublin. There were two full days of all manner of topics related to digital preservation as well as the highlight of the conference - the official launch of the Digital Repository of Ireland (DRI).

We spent a number of weeks recently training the Glanbia in-house developers on Drupal best practices, so that they would be self-sufficient in their choice to adopt Drupal as their preferred CMS. The first website their team built was the Glanbia Foodscapes Nutrition website, which showcases their products to their worldwide client base.

We were delighted to be in the company of a huge number of esteemed people in the field of implementation science at the launch of the European Implementation Collaborative (EIC) and its inauguration into the Global Implementation Collaborative yesterday evening.
