Backend Drupal Developer

Roles / responsibilities

  • Drupal site building
  • Backend Drupal development - custom modules, integrations, migrations, etc
  • Code reviews and QA of other's work
  • Assisting and supporting clients

Required skills

Although we don't expect anyone to have all of these skills, we do expect you to have most of them.

  • Strong debugging and problem solving skills
  • Experience with Drupal backend development and/or Symfony
  • Strong PHP skills
  • Experience using Drush
  • Familiarity with MySQL, Apache and Unix / Linux
  • Git version control

What would really shine

  • JavaScript and jQuery skills
  • Experience migrating content into Drupal
  • Experience with Apache Solr, LDAP and integrating with other external systems
  • Experience with a DDEV or other Docker-based development environment

The successful applicants should be able to communicate clearly and effectively through the written word, and will be able to adapt quickly to changing client needs.

This is a full-time role with a minimum 6 month contract.
