Annertech celebrates double finalist status at eGovernment Awards!
This recognition reflects the incredible work of our clients, our team, and the power of open-source technology in driving public sector digital excellence.
Now in their 22nd year, the Ireland eGovernment Awards shine a spotlight on the innovators reshaping public services through impactful digital solutions at both local and national levels.
An Taoiseach, Micheál Martin TD, will present the winners’ trophies following a morning leadership summit and a red-carpet awards lunch – a landmark event honouring digital excellence across Ireland’s public sector.

Ncri.ie – Finalist in the Open Data category
The National Cancer Registry of Ireland website is a shining example of how public health data can be made accessible, transparent, and meaningful. Built with accessibility, performance and usability at its core, ncri.ie empowers researchers, policymakers and the public to explore critical cancer statistics with ease.
“We’re proud to support NCRI in their mission to improve cancer outcomes through open access to information,” said Emily McLaughlin, Project Manager at Annertech.
“NCRI data is essential in advancing public health efforts. From the outset, our goal was to create a platform which is useful to a diverse range of stakeholders.“

Zevi.ie – Finalist in the Sustainability/Green category
The Zero Emission Vehicles Ireland site is paving the way for a greener future. Zevi.ie serves as a dynamic hub for Ireland’s transition to electric vehicles, providing vital information and updates to individuals and businesses alike. It’s a bold digital step toward a cleaner, more sustainable Ireland.
“Zevi.ie is more than just a website; it’s a catalyst for change,” said Sean O’Connell, Project Manager at Annertech.
“We set out to create a user-friendly platform that inspires action and supports Ireland’s journey to a zero-emission transport future, and we are really proud of it.”
The Ireland eGovernment Awards ceremony takes place on 18 September 2025 at O'Reilly Hall, Belfield, in Dublin.
“We’re incredibly proud of both projects,” said Alan Burke, Director of Technology at Annertech.
“NCRI’s site demonstrates the potential of open data to support life-saving research, while ZEVI’s platform is all about powering a better, greener tomorrow. These nominations are a testament to what happens when digital and civic innovation come together.”
“At Annertech, we believe public sector digital experiences should be fast, accessible, and people-first. Congratulations to our amazing clients at NCRI and ZEVI, and best of luck at the awards!”
