DrupalCon Rotterdam 2026: Annertech returns as a Gold Sponsor

From 28 September to 1 October 2026, the Drupal community will come together in Rotterdam for four days of learning, sharing, collaboration and, of course, plenty of Drupal chat. The format is being switched up a bit this year, with the addition of specialised sessions on the 28th, two session days on the 29th and 30th, and contribution day on the 1st of October.

And this year, the Annertechies are heading to Rotterdam en masse. We're looking forward to catching up with old friends, meeting new faces and sharing what we've been working on across Drupal, accessibility and LocalGov Drupal.

We’re also holding our own two-day retreat in Rotterdam on the 1st and the 2nd of October. Known as Annertech Days, these internal conferences give us the opportunity to learn more about Annertech and our latest goals, brainstorm new ideas and connect (and yes, meet team members we haven’t met in real life).

If you've been to DrupalCon before, you'll know that Annertechies love to be involved. This year will be no different.

Our booth is always a great social hub, and the team will be hanging out ready to greet and welcome attendees. A few of us will also be volunteering at DrupalCon.

As has become something of a tradition, Annertech will be driving DrupalCon's Trivia Night. Stella is the Question Setter in Chief, our Director of Technology Alan Burke will be back on the mic, asking questions and keeping you entertained, and of course the rest of the team will be runners – handing out and collecting answer sheets.

Taking place on Wednesday evening, 30 September, Trivia Night is always one of the biggest highlights of the conference – a chance to put your Drupal knowledge, general knowledge and questionable guessing skills to the test. Plus it’s a lot of fun.

And when we're not keeping everyone entertained, you'll find Annertechies across the conference delivering insightful sessions and getting involved in the wider Drupal community.

There's plenty on the programme for anyone interested in building better Drupal websites.

Fullstack developer Christopher Torgalson will be presenting Accessibility Worst Practices on Tuesday, 29 September, from 13:30 to 14:15 in Leeuwen Room I&II.

Local government takes centre stage

One of the highlights for us will be the Government Summit on Monday, 28 September – which is already full!

The summit brings together people working across government and the public sector to explore shared challenges around public-facing websites, intranets, digital services, case management and more. LocalGov Drupal is a great example of what can happen when public-sector organisations collaborate around open source, and we're delighted to see that conversation continuing at DrupalCon.

Frontend specialist Tony Barker, who is also the lead developer for LocalGov Drupal, will be in attendance to answer any questions you may have.

Another exciting development is that Jayvik Patel, Strategic Digital Services Manager at Luton Borough Council, will be presenting at the Government Summit. Jayvik has first-hand experience of delivering digital transformation with LocalGov Drupal.
