Drupal Open Days - the largest meeting of Drupal developers, users, and enthusiasts in Ireland - is fast approaching. This year is looking like it's going to be the biggest and best one yet.

We love to share our knowledge. At every Drupal camp and Drupal Open Days in Ireland (not to mention most DrupalCons and DevDays internationally) we give presentations. This year we are giving three talks at Drupal Open Days Ireland 2015. Here's what we'll talk about:

Glanbia opened their new "hi spec infant formula" plant in Bellview, Kilkenny in early March. To coincide with it, we were tasked with building the website for Glanbia Ingredients Ireland. This new website showcases the range of products that Glanbia produce.

The Irish eGovernment Awards held last week in Dublin Castle showcased some of the work of Annertech. Our projects won in three categories: "Overall Winner", "Open Source", and "Promoting Ireland Overseas". Inspiring Ireland which we built for the Digital Repository of Ireland (DRI) won all three.

Last Thursday - Jan 22nd - President Michael D. Higgins launched the European Year for Development at Dublin Castle, saying that "2015 is a seminal year for the future of human development".

Last week, as founder and managing director of Annertech, I had the privilege of talking to Barbara Scully on Dublin South FM's The Hen House about Women in Business and how Annertech was started.

Last week Anthony and I attended the absolutely excellent Better Together awards. Better Together is a nationwide campaign which aims to build support for hundreds of charities, community groups, clubs and associations across the country by encouraging the public to support these good causes and make a difference in their communities.

This year Age Action was chosen as Christmas FM's charity for 2014, and Annertech was on-hand to help them prepare for the big campaign and get as much benefit as possible from it.

Annertech have the pleasure of sponsoring this year's Open for Business Conference organised by the OPW and the LGMA. The event takes place in Dublin Castle on Friday 28th November and features a number of case studies and talks about how open standards, open data and open source are driving innovation across the public sector.

It's official: Annertech are one of the best Drupal development agencies in the world. We've just been selected by Clutch as market leaders for Drupal services, the only Irish company to achieve such an accolade.

We are delighted to learn that the Building Control Management System (BCMS) project that we built recently for the LGMA has been nominated for an Engineers Ireland Excellence Award.
